Ephesians 4:11-13

"And he Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ".

The Old mountain Top ministerial staff work with the Pastor to meet the spiritual needs of the church family and individuals living in the community.  The work of God is not about our personal feelings,  being comfortable, rich, or famous but about service.  What does God need to be done to minister to the people both inside and outside of the church to bring about his glory?  The job of the clergy is to work with the plan of God to do His will.  The ministerial staff support the church through teaching Sunday school and Bible study to help raise up disciples for Christ, ministering in the choir, attending to the needs of families during times of bereavement, administering communion to the home bound,  visiting the sick, mentoring, serving the community through outreach, supporting the church in evangelistic opportunities and times of fellowship with other churches and even picking up a mop and broom to help clean the church if necessary to meet the needs of the church.  All the glory belongs to God, and that is where the focus always belongs.
